haka

Haka :

My favorite team is the New-Zealand, the « all black ». My team is very very very strong  and he plays really well. The particularity of my team, that they have a Maori dance «  haka ». It’s very impresive to see a rugby player dancing but it’s also very scary !                                                                                                    The players stamping of the feet, poking out of the tongue, eye bulging, grunt and cries, slap the hands...                                                                                                                  They do the haka before game, always. The haka it’s very typical of New Zealand .

The team of the New Zealand will participate in the Rugby World Cup 2011 .                    She will play in Pool A  versus Tonga for the first match at 20:30 Friday September 9. She will play versus Japan for the second match at 20 :00 Friday September 16, she will play versus France at 20 :30 Saterday September 24 and she will play versus Canada for the last match at 15 :30 Saterday October 1.

I think the all-black will win the cup is the best team in the world

Tatoos : According to Maori mythology, the tatoo

Tatoos :

According to Maori mythology, the tatoo begin with a love story between a young man named Mataora and a young woman in the world of darkness called Niweraka…

In the past, the tattoos were reserved for important person, often for the warrior. In addition, the tattoos made the men attractive, manly for the women. Those who did not were considered as persons without social status.

However, getting tattoos were very painful and very long. For these persons during the healing time, it was often impossible to eat because of swelling of the face. Often, they placed the leaves of native tree for to accelerate healing and they played of the flute for to relieve pain. The processes for making tattoos were very rustic. The instruments used for tattooing were a chisel bone, with a straight edge and sharp.

Eventually, these people put a lot of time for to heal and be able to eat normally again
